Re: Faux fur sherpa blanket? Anyone?

I bought mine at Costco for $14 each. So far they're soft and warm. I admit I bought them for our dogs and they love them.

Re: Did anyone buy the Meteorites

A few years ago I went to the Tucson gem show and I saw genuine loose meteorites that were amazing. Huge prices too but the ones I saw looked much better to my liking.

Re: Karis jewelry quality

Bracelets and pendants don't take the beating rings do. I actually have a few of those in my personal collection that are Karis but I will not take the chance and sell even those to my customers. I don't blame you. It's best for your business and gives you a customer service excellent quality exper...

Re: Karis jewelry quality

I have some Karis from about 5 years ago. I don't keep it on when I wash dishes or shower but so far my pieces are still nice. I have a bracelet with rough cut emeralds and a bracelet with blue chalcedony and both still look new.

Re: QUESTION GEM FOLK!!!!!!

I have several pieces of blue topaz and none have a clear type color anywhere. I'd take pictures or at the very least call CS and if necessary ask to speak to a supervisor to get another stone or a refund.

Seriously, go to Dillard, Macy's, Nordstrom and even TJ Maxx and check out the costume jewelry prices they slap on their pieces AND they are often silvertone, goldtone and mystery metal. SLC definitely has the costume jewelry for a great price tag when ...

Re: Disclosing gems treatments

Over the years I've learned that if something is low priced then generally it's going to be "treated" and generally worth what I paid for it. I started researching gem information sites and reading about treatment for gems. The sales pitch always over states worth, etc. If it's rare and you pay very...

Re: Cheryl

The biggest reason I LOVE to watch SLC is the fact that it's fun. Yes, the prices are phenomenal. The CS and ease of ordering is great. But SLC has it all over the other shopping channels. The easy fun the hosts have there during broadcast is pure entertainment. Cheryl is great. I love her enthusias...

Re: Ruby, heated only or fissure filled

I've read about fissure filled gems extensively on gem sites. They sell for about $1 a carat, give or take. If the price is cheap and labeled genuine just know for your own edification that its filled. When I shop rubies here I'm aware that I'm getting fissure filled and I enjoy the pretty setting a...
