That's not cool Shop LC needs to start paying attention to their customer service dept. I've cut way down on shopping here, but seeing your issue I might just take a break.

It sounds like you definitely encountered some issues. BUT..... I don't like your comment ' How could they?…they aren’t even in the country most of the time! Why does this matter? I would like to know that too. And the hosts say get it appraised. Appraisals are very expensive I found that out when I bought a loose stone I called around and couldn't afford the cost.

I haven't had that happen to me, but it certainly speaks of fraud. They can't sell something they don't have. Did you call again and ask someone else? That CS agent you talked to doesn't seem to know what they are talking about
