Re: Becky Booker intentionally ruining other hosts
It's really great to see Becky on now (with Matt) at an earlier time for a change. I hope we get to see her more often in the coveted time slots and not during night owl hours.

Re: Under $10 Fridays?
It's time for ShopLC to change it from Under $10 Friday to Flea Market Friday.
Stainless steel will always look like stainless steel. I think of when I was a kid and drugstores had gumball machines near the exit. Many times there were stainless steel rings in them

Re: Becky Booker intentionally ruining other hosts
It would be interesting to have Tony as her co-host but she rarely has the peak time slots so it's not going to happen.

Re: Solar Eclipse Viewing Glasses
I did a Google image match of the viewing glasses and there are many selling them, even on Amazon. Supposedly they are ISO and CE certified however, they're made in China. I'm not going to take a chance.

Re: Quality of Hosts
I can't figure out why Cheryl, Kim and Chuck are usually in the prime time slots. Do they appeal to viewers (large number of retirees) home during mornings and afternoons? Cheryl's bellowing gets old real fast but she's knowledgable. As for Hunter, I love his positive vibe and genuine laughter thoug...

Re: Back in the old days…
Spinoza, they should scale back on showing anything set in 18k and platinum. The ones with tanzanite seem plentiful there's no way the stone is truly rare. Most of their Modani is pricey too. The hosts put in alot of effort trying to convince viewers they should buy as an investment but many can't j...

Re: Max Bids
I bid frequently but not on expensive items. Recently I won a gold over sterling necklace for $24 (was $105) and a blue moon turquoise pendant for $14 (was $52). Sometimes the fake bidders are not paying attention. Like Koalagirl, I had an earring post break off but fortunately not while wearing it!

Re: Max Bids
It's annoying! Yesterday I bid on some jewelry and noticed the max bids are too obvious to be legit. Seen mostly with 10k and 14k jewelry. It's a few people doing it and not sure if it's a bot or SLC employee. I saw one username on at least 10 items. Might be random people creating new accounts with...

Re: Miss C
Hi Miss C! Finding the right terminology to describe gemstones etc is a challenge and this is why being proficient in the subject is so important. Coupled with presenting on a schedule in front of a camera makes it even more challenging so me and others can definitely sympathize. I could never do it...

Re: Miss C
I watched maybe 30 min and could tell she was nervous. Repeating 'gorgeous' and 'beautiful'. It was as if she was a stand in to model the jewelry and offer an opinion. The white tips of her nails had chips too but maybe she was notified at the last minute to cover for Becky.
