Re: Quality of gold chains/necklaces
I bought a 10k chain from SLC and learned a lesson about rope styles in weights under a certain gram. In my case it was 3gr which I thought was decent until I received the chain and it broke after wearing a couple times. Thin hollow chains are more susceptible to breaking. Also it was made in Peru w...

Re: Rising Auctions
Ah now I see the new pop up showing highest bidder and a place to enter your own amount.

Re: Rising Auctions
The format I've seen for many months always shows the current max bidder name and there's a section on the listing to see names of bidders and amount bid. I've always suspected bot accounts because same names are bidding on many jewelery items. Real gold jewelry bid amounts are extremely inflated. W...

Re: $1 Auctions
I'm hooked on the auctions but didn't take long to figure out it's a waste of time bidding on real gold jewelry and certain gemstones. Overbidding by the same names repeatedly is too obvious.

Re: Italian Saturno chain
Seems the Italian gold over sterling holds up quite well with careful use (not worn while bathing etc). I have several ShopLC paper clip chains and they make a great gold imposter. I saw the Saturno presentation and was really tempted to buy.

Re: Model on set, is this new?
They require a model because it's impossible for Heather to put on each piece and get a word or two in because Mr. C is the know-it-all and talks nonstop and interrupts. I'm watching it right now only because of Heather.

Re: Steve C. Pennies on the $.
Indeed some of the pushy selling tactics are mute worthy. When Steve was new to the SLC I was annoyed with him. Over time I realize he's pretty harmless. His phrases "Pennies on the dollar", "only find this gem in estate pieces", "no design fees", "to die for", "we're the future" are repeated with t...

Re: Papa Rozier
I kept it on in my laptop's browser tab while I visited other sites. It was a snooze fest and they touted the oils as special as unicorn's tears when the same can be easily be found at lower cost in a local superstore or online. Do they think viewers are impulsive, uninformed, and never comparison s...

Karen's in the studio!
So awesome to see her in the studio with Heather. Both are really nice. Wish she was in the studio more often instead of a satellite location (example-room in a house).

Re: TLV Stun Gun
I'm a night owl and watch ShopLC from their home page on my laptop. While I visited other sites, I left the tab open and could hear them talk. The stun gun was a drawn out marathon presentation and they successfully used their expert selling tactics which included their own real life experience. It ...
