If you like that mint, pale green kind of color then look at JTV's lab created green spinel. I bought a pair of lab created green spinel studs from them and I love the color! It's so fresh looking and sparkles, too.
It's been my experience with prasiolite where you almost have to get a large stone to see any substantial color. I mean stones that are at least 4 or more carats. Otherwise most of them have very little color and appear grayish, not green at all. Looks like that upcoming TLV round-cut ring is over 5...

I must have lucked out with the emeraldine studs I got. They are emerald cut, not big and have inclusions in them. I own a genuine Colombian emerald, also in an octogon cut and I have to say that my studs look very much like that real emerald in color and clarity...my emeraldine studs even have that...
