Re: Receiving Used/Returned Goods

That’s how HSN treated me and I quit shopping with them! I got soooo mad! Yeah—like we’re going to call up and lie or better yet send photos! Mistakes happen—ShopLC should just admit it and apologize and make it right! QVC and JTV did and does!

Re: NOT AGAIN!!

I hope you get a good ring and I hope that ring is NOT just going back to the regular inventory. Honestly, being new to ShopLC—but not at all new to home shopping, I keep reading some really wonky stuff about ShopLC. Makes me wonder...Haven’t purchased much, just some sterling silver and gemstone it...

Re: Receiving Used/Returned Goods

I realize this is a late post, but I had to add my comment. As a former Nurse Manager of 350+ employees for over 30 years both in hospital and home health settings—-a company can have a policy that they want their staff to adhere to 100% of the time. However, in practice the policy may not be follow...

Re: Opinion on 10K YG?

I agree, I have never had my fingers, my wrists, or my ear lobes turn green when I wore 10K gold. Maybe you had nickel in the 10K back then—many manufacturers don’t use nickel anymore because they know a lot of people have problems with nickel. Check out the 10K gold, I think you will be happy!

Re: Opinion on 10K YG?

I have only watched/viewed ShopLC for a short time, but am a jewelry lover! I really like 10K gold (and 14K!). Depending on what the additional metals the manufacturer mixes it with I find sometimes the 10K yellow or white gold can be quite beautiful! It’s sturdy, but of course not worth what 14K is...

Re: Impregnated Welo opals? Mod PLEASE ANSWER

I wonder if it’s possible that the opals changing color are coated with some type of material that sometimes changes color over time? Just a thought... I truly do not believe that the color of the metal (or the purity of the metal— sterling vs. 10K—14K—18K gold makes any difference.) If opals changi...

Re: Impregnated Welo opals? Mod PLEASE ANSWER

Well Spooky, I have quite a few opals in sterling silver stored in anti-tarnish containers and some without the anti-tarnish strips and there is no difference between the two with the opals. I really don’t think the metal color or purity is making the difference regarding the color change IMO.

Re: Impregnated Welo opals? Mod PLEASE ANSWER

Hi. I know I am just jumping in on this conversation, I am new to ShopLC, but not jewelry and not opals. I have a lot of opals, jewelry and gemstones in small and large sizes going back to purchases from 6—7 years ago. Most of mine are stored in my jewelry boxes (not anti-tarnish), some are in plast...
