Re: Coupons!
Yes! I've been missing having the coupons. This was the thing (for me) that made Shop LC stand out from other jewelry shopping sites. The coupons were a huge incentive to shop here over other places. Please bring them back - even if it's not as often, but it would be nice to see them again, soon. In...

Re: Tiny pendant
Kittycat I know what you mean; I learned the hard way not to rely 100% on the photo for sizing/scale. For that reason, I also look at the description and then at a measuring tape I keep at my pc, lol. The worst thing is that some of the jewelry home shopping sites use Photoshop (or whatever the sof...

Happy Root Beer day! I never liked root beer, even as a kid. I think it was because my parents gave us Fletcher's Castoria for digestive issues and it tasted like root beer so it turned me off to the soda, lol. On another note, I never liked cream soda either.

Re: ESPIRITO SANTO AQUAMARINE Question
@Tothemoon Thank you for clearing that up! Yes, the ring I bought from the Iliana collection resembles Swiss Blue topaz in color/hue. I appreciate the explanation and have always wondered because as I said, previously, other places I've seen aquamarine jewelry it's always an icy blue color.

Re: ESPIRITO SANTO AQUAMARINE Question
What is the jewelry industry standard color for aquamarine? Traditionally, anything I've seen is an icy blue, however, I purchased an Iliana aquamarine ring and the blue is more like a light London Blue topaz, much deeper than an icy blue. I love it, but am not sure if I understand what the ideal, s...

Re: Your Favorite Host
I like Becky and Cheryl. People have been unkind about Cheryl, but I love her enthusiasm; clearly she loves what she does and it shows. Gotta love that in a host!

@Catticus Wow! Clearly you also have a love of retro toys - that's awesome! I wish I had saved all of my Liddle Kiddle jewelry dolls; I only have the two pieces.

OtherSideOfTheTracks you got me with the dentist treasure chest - I'd totally forgotten about that! My dentist did that, too! And you jogged my memory of those little girl jewelry boxes with the ballerina that spun and music played when the box was opened. Mine played Fur Elise. You may not know or...

@Gemsnob did you ever mine for gemstones? That's something I'd like to try, at least once, to see where a gemstone is born. That would be so cool.

Re: When did your love of jewerly begin?
JewelryQueen Yes, the sparkle and shine is what I love most about jewelry, too. Growing up in the 60's/70's which was a time when home decor was olive drab, beige and just dreary - at least to a child it was. I also have a love of all thing Christmas, mostly because of the lights and decorations wh...
