Sharing my story; for what it’s worth
My husband and I are 57 and 55 y o respectively. He retired on 12/31/19. I “retired” on the first day of lockdown in March ‘20 from the preschool where I worked. It never reopened. When word of the vaccines started to rollout, we agreed to take a “wait and see” approach for six months (we both are b...

Re: Missing the old LC
Still have the LC insulated carrier bags that showed up periodically out of the blue for seemingly no reason. Use them every week to do grocery shopping. Miss the RA “second chance.” If the winner of an auction failed to pay, the next highest bidder was given the chance to purchase the item at their...

Re: Have you had missing shipments?
Wow, shoplc, sounds like you need to do a quality assurance review of your delivery service providers. What is wrong with USPS? They have always delivered the goods for me from shoplc for ten years with nearly zero problems. So sorry this is happening. I felt a twist in my gut of sympathy frustratio...

Re: Honest Feedback From A Real Customer
Wow Purrkitty you expressed my thoughts purr-fectly! Prudent-now that’s a word that is UNDER-utilized in our culture today. I have been so much more careful when on the RA not to accidentally bid on random items (or let my cat stroll across my iPhone on my lap when I’m logged in);-) Now my bids are ...

Re: Rising Auction changes
Can you believe it when I say that I actually tried to read through “Terms and Conditions” of the autopay feature?? Lots of convoluted contract-speak, but I managed to glean a few salient points during the time when my eyes weren’t glazing over. First and most importantly, Shoplc does not guarantee ...

ShopLC staff must be amused...
For several weeks bidders have been “winning” jade/sterling/stainless pocket watch pendants for amounts ranging from $100-$150 in the RA. They are currently selling for $79.99 in the online store. Doh!
I’ve certainly been finding it hi-larry-us...smh.

Tax
Simple question: the shirt I purchased from shoplc this morning is NOT taxable in the state where I reside, nor are the shipping charges associated with said shirt; so why was $.40 tax included on my invoice? What am I missing? Is it some sort of exit tax for TX?

Re: Coupons!
This spoiled American is mom to a wonderful daughter born in another country to an unknown biological mother. It is an honor and privilege being her mom. If my family was a solar system, my daughter is the sun & we planets revolve around her. She is growing up into one of the best people I know. Thi...

Re: Saturday (8/8) Coffee ☕☕☕
Happy Saturday to you, too! Here goes...From my teenage daughter: Running on the road when a vehicle pulls up behind you can make you “tired.” Running behind a car makes you “exhausted.” All the nice things you do for animals makes me want to give you a feline statue. It will be a “catastrophe.” Can...
