I don’t mind the smack downs that are maybe a few hours long, but when there is an all day smack down on one gemstone I can’t watch. Nothing like the variety shows and the under $10 days, or even a mix of both.

I purchased 3 rings a while back. 2 have beautiful stones that are a nice combination of green and turquoise, but one is an all muddied green. You have to hope to get a good stone.

Same with many ruby pieces and other gemstones that are fissure filled.

I bid on a lot of items and I have noticed my same name outbidding me. Coincidence? I feel it’s either to bump up the bid prices or it’s because someone at the company realizes the item is damaged or not available so they outbid everyone.
