Paraiba topaz is not a doublet or a triplet. I have a Paraiba topaz bracelet and the stones are not 'sandwiched' but are one solid rock each. Maybe there's more than one kind of Paraiba topaz stone made but mine are not doublets or triplets and are coated solid stones.

I believe they said it was coated. The coating is on the underside of the stone (the pavillion) and that is the same thing they do with mystic topaz. Since the coating is on the outer surface of the underside then it won't wear off as it would if the coating was on top. What I don't know for sure is...

My experience with other light therapy devices is that they take too much of my time...too much to justify the end results. So I gave it up.
