Loose gemstones not listed in category
I’ve noticed the selection of loose gemstones has gotten smaller over the last couple of weeks. I’ve also noticed that a lot of loose gemstones are not listed when I search only that category from the drop-down menu. Here’s an example: https://www.shoplc.com/auction.action/london-blue-topaz-1-50-ctw...

Re: Melissa
This is a continuation of my prior text on Melissa. If you want to see something unbelievable check out auction site and see what she is doing! She will create bidding wars where no matter how high you place a bid she will top it just so she is the winner of the auction. She will not stop even bidd...

Re: If we’re calling red corundum a red sapphire
Hi all, Blue Sapphire and Ruby are both Corundum. Red Sapphire and Ruby are both Corundum. Not all red Corundum is Ruby. The difference has to do with the SHADE of the Red Corundum. I believe that the Red Corundum that is called Ruby must have blue undertones. Indeed, the most gorgeous Rubies that ...

Re: Tony Dinez
I like Tony, he’s got a cool cat style. I think when he gets excited and does his “come on ladies and gentlemen, do you understand what’s on the table?” routine he’s really talking to the people who can afford to drop thousands of dollars, not us poors. So I don’t find it insulting because he’s real...

Mislabeled gemstone
Occasionally a translucent, pale yellow loose gemstone labeled “melanite” appears in the auctions. I think it’s actually “meionite,” a variety of scapolite. Melanite is opaque black andradite. I could be wrong, of course, about its being meionite, but it’s definitely not melanite. Might want to chec...

If we’re calling red corundum a red sapphire
Then I’m going to call blue corundum a blue ruby.
(get it? Why do the hosts call rubies red sapphires?)

Re: 3-5 business days shipping
To be fair, I was mistaken that the shipping is 3-5 business days. It’s 5-7.
But that still means my order is outside the time frame.

3-5 business days shipping
Is a lie. Given the max of 5 business days, items I ordered on July 14 should have been delivered on July 21. And who knows where they are thanks to the worthless tracking system. I’ve NEVER received any shipment in 3 days and it’s VERY rare to get it in 5 days. I run my own business and I do everyt...
