Re: Pink Opal: From Peru with love

Thanks Preston. It will be good. I read some comments in another topic that this Opal turned yellow too. Questions: Is this Opal have an enhancement or its polished only? And is it better to wear the gem during the day or night? Thank you.

Tomorrow, Peruvian Pink Opal is back. I'm glad that on a previous show of the gem, I bought a ring and earrings. I love all the gems, but this Opal and AAA Chrysocolla have a special meaning to me. Enjoy the show!

I would be not only sad, but disappointed. I started shopping in 2007, the year this channel started.

Hey RS, I did see Cheryl more than once shining a light on the stones to show their “phosphorescence” or whatever. Wasn’t sure if that’s what you were wondering about earlier.
Grizzy: That light is called ultraviolet light.

Re: Burmese Ruby

I wonder why they are constantly saying to get the things the sell appraised? In another post, I tell the story of two gems: Amethyst and aquamarine (they were loose gems). They are really pretty and they were appraised. But this composite stuff is not worth it to be appraised. Not all Burmese Ruby...
