Re: Mocking the forum complaints
I didn't see this particular episode everyone's talking about, but it sounds like, from what I read here, they were defending another host from unkind remarks. Is that appropriate? Probably not, but I have seen hateful comments here about hosts that some viewers deem "loud" or "a screamer". Do I lik...

Re: Host Ring Sizes
DjinCCTX YES! All of the other jewelry channels do the same thing; traditional size on traditional sized hand or a mannequin or a stupid-as-heck Photoshopped image. Get real photos or real, live video on a real, live human's hand. It's just so much more helpful and sell-able if we can see a more re...

Re: What a FREAKING JOKE!!!!!!
shopLC_alex Regarding the 30-day lower price guarantee, I tried claiming that on item where the drop occurred within 30 days of my purchased and when I called, I was told it didn't apply to me and I didn't get the benefit of the guarantee. I can't remember the item, but am wondering if you had a wa...

Re: Cleaning jewelry marked 14K with copper cleaner
@Sissy2 Thank you! My instincts were right, then. I appreciate the response, That cleaning method you describe, I've actually tried that before, but it was so long ago, I don't recall if I'd tried it on the necklace I mention. Again, thanks!

Cleaning jewelry marked 14K with copper cleaner
Does anyone know, for sure, why cream copper cleaner is the only thing that would clean a solid, Figaro necklace that is marked 14K gold? Story: years ago, my dad worked for a scrap metal company and came home with some jewelry found in a drain that was all discolored; dark like bronze or tarnished ...

Re: WELO OPALS RESTORED FROM YELLOW TO CLEAR!
BTS Glad you found a resolution! I discovered by accident that because opal is porous, when it gets wet, it turns color. I washed dishes with my Welo opal ring and it turned yellowish as you describe. I put the ring away and checked it again in a few days. Once the ring dried out, it was back to it...

Re: Ruby/diamond ring
@Vicky Amen to that; I, too, miss what made SLC different from all of the other home/jewelry shopping networks. I don't want another clone of what's already out there. I LIKED that they were different; it was always a "go-to" site for me. Not so much anymore.

Re: Moissinite
I have a couple of moissanite rings (not bought here, ssshhhh, lol), on the less expensive side, small size/carat weight. They're nice enough and I'm glad I have some to add to my collection of different gemstones. However, their price point is on par with real diamonds and, for bigger carat weight ...

Re: Black rodium
Kittycat I do have one ring with the black rhodium that I really like; it's a multi-row garnet ring with black rhodium and the black and deep red are a great color combo. However, I don't like it on everything; makes an overall too-dark look, like with blue diamonds or with multi-color diamonds. I ...
