Re: Off the forums for awhile

Oh my goodness, Ginger, your other post about making amends with those you love...again socked me right in the heart. First and most importantly, hope you are yet taking care of yourself as you take care of others in your family!! My mom passed on Tuesday the eleventh after a week and a half of stok...

Re: Off the forums for awhile

Hey Ginger, thank you for sharing your post. I’m feeling a bit of your sadness tonight. My 83 year old mother suffered a massive stroke a week ago, and after a slow decline, is being put into hospice care. We’ve been told it may take up to a week for her to pass. Your words of wisdom and advice coul...

The good and the bad

The good: my sister and my coworker both have September birthdays, so I just ordered 2 sapphire chips ballpoint pens for the ridiculously low price of - drumroll please - after discount, tax, and shipping: $18.31 total! I really hope nothing goes wrong with this order... The bad: last Saturday Shopl...

Re: 7 dollar pendants

Wait a second...they have “warning levels” here without notifying you how or why you received them? Huh. Having flashbacks to Animal House. Anyone remember “double secret probation?”

Dangerous Glitch

Hello ShopLC community! In January 2018 I was using the ShopLC App on the RA when I realized my bids were showing up under someone else’s name. When I clicked on user profile, I saw account info that was not mine! Panicked, I quickly logged that user out. Going back on the app, I realized that I was...

Re: What is your opinion about ShopLC clothing?

I haven’t seen any posts about the viscose cardigans. I have been buying them on the RA for several years. The fabric is thin which makes them great for layering, and the fit is “flowy.” I like that they cover my butt and seem true to size. I’m 5’8, a 36D on top and size 10 on the bottom. I usually ...

Does ShopLC have a guideline for butt bidding?

I noticed someone has their bid up to $84 on a cute little faux sherpa cardigan with an est. retail value of $59.99. Then I noticed all her bids are in increments of $5. It’s all funny until it happens to you. Or, she could be having a mental breakdown. Either way, beware the butt bid!

Re: Rising Auctions

This discussion has me waxing nostalgic on the good old days before LC auctions had a countdown clock or an auto-bid generator. In fact, there was no moving clock at all on the site- each auction had a static time stamp (down to the second) for when it ended. In order to figure out LC’s clock, I had...

Re: Rising Auctions

Right now “L” is bidding $34 on a sun & moon amethyst pendant that is currently available for $9.99 in the online shop. Frustrating.
