Returning items that came in.

It could be that they are receiving an email asking them if they are happy with their purchase, but many haven't received the item yet. But they still reply. Then again, some people just don't bother to leave a "real" review.

I get requests from all shopping channels for reviews. I think they intentionally send it before the item arrives, so the buyer is still excited, and hasn't seen the issues with the item yet. The most important for the seller are the star Ratings given. Thats what a viewer looks for to start with. I myself dont bother to check out anything that has less then a 4 star rating. Then I determine if it’s fake or compensated for. I get plenty of: GIVE US A GOOD REVIEW AND YOU GET 20% OFF NEXT ITEM. Actually, one seller offered to return 5% of my purchase price of the item I review. Fakes Used to be easy to spot. They are getting more sophisticated, so reading the 1 star and 2 star reviews gives me a clue. By shoplc it is the customers reviews. So without seeing it, they will usually give it a 4 star( why, I dont know) maybe how the item looked in the lightbox is stuck in their memory. So right away, this increases the average Of the low star ratings of others. Then of course some customers will give a 1 star because they thought the stones were bigger, or the clothes make them look fat. So its not the items fault. So, all in all its like DETECTIVE work to figure out whether to buy the item. And of course at Shoplc, the same product has many samples that look beautiful and many that are really bad. In my case I bought a strand of Golden south sea pearls that looked stunning on Air.
When it arrived, They were supposed to be ROUND- they were not. GOLDEN COLOR- they were yellow. LUSTRE - barely. Pearl was supposed to be up to 15mm size - biggest was 13.2.
Well, I ordered a second strand which looked much nicer except it too only had a 13+ mm pearl. I kept that one.
So, shoplc and other vendors giving misleading info on the item, affects the reviews, some of the SAME item may beca 5 star, while others deserve NO STARS.

.......it arrived beautifully packaged, it smells like leather,
not overwhelming, I have always felt limited at purchasing
Chaos because the bags are so big, but this one is perfect
for me. I don't mind the manmade strap, it's adjustable,
plenty of room inside annnnd it's not heavy +++++ for me
and my achy back. It's multi color, duh, it's Chaos and I
love it. I ordered while it was aired because I seldom
see smaller Chaos bags and I did not want to lose this one.
