Thank you @Gemsnob I think about you often too & hope things are going well for you. It will be my birthday in about an hour, we need to focus on something happy for awhile and just let all our problems go for a day. We could do with some funny jokes or stories, I think we all need a day to get our minds off what’s going on in our lives. You friends are the absolute best ever!!

I had this friend that was home and getting ready
for a visit to her gynecologist. Just before leaving,
she made one more stop in her powder room and
took advantage of her feminine deodorant spray,
and dashed out the door.
Her exam was routine, but oddly, when the doc
was thru, he remarked "Are you feeling festive today?"
Relived the exam was over, she just shrugged off
the remark, and it kinda haunted her all the way
home.
When she got back home and into the powder room,
she noticed that she did not pick up the feminine
deodorant, but instead, in her haste, she had grabbed
her young daughter's GLITTER HAIR SPRAY!!!!

My Granny was a teetotler until she was about 92. She had gone for her physical and complained to the doc that she had trouble sleeping. He recommended a glass of wine before bed . On her birthday (Dec. 6th) some of the family brought a bottle of Danish cherry wine. She had a sip and declared that she liked the taste. So for Christmas Sissy and I bought her a bottle. Now I know the neck was tall and thin but this bottle stood about 3 feet high! Well along comes New Year's, a week later, and time for Sissy's and my son's birthdays and another get together. I was curious what this wine tasted like so I asked Aiti for a sip. She says "It's all gone." Whaaat?? Very defensively she says "I have a glass before bed." I said "Show me the glass." So she calmly whips out about a 24 oz milkshake glass and says "But I only have ONE!"
