Burmese jadeite may undergo bleaching, dyeing, and impregnation to improve the appearance of the stone and enhance its durability. This treatment is stable with normal care and does not require any special care. The impregnation is polymer.

You are correct Gem Lover. Natural Jade -jadeite or nephrite - sound like wind chimes when you tap them. And only treatment for high quality Jade is beeswax which is also natural. No chemicals at all.
