Bali Legacy silver

Post by CJM » 4 years ago

I was looking at the BL bangles/bracelets. Why is the silver so oxidized? (rhetorical question) I know it does't bother everyone; I personally find it unappealing. I prefer the shine of silver. I wish both ways was offered.

I also prefer the shiny ones, they have them once in a while but not often enough.

I also do not like the Legacy line. The only oxidized silver that I enjoy are small bead, rounds, bicones, daisies, etc that are used as spacers between other gem beads. I spent quite a bit of time in Bali, and believe me, they are wonderful silversmiths and do NOT oxidize everything!!! Too bad SLC doesn't have some of those pieces in their lineup.

It takes some work but you can get a lot of that off.
I too mostly like shiny silver. A bit of oxidation is ok, but not much.

Odd woman out here 😊 I like the oxidized jewelry pieces. I think it gives the piece character 😊

There are some videos on YouTube that will show you how to remove oxidation off of jewelry without damaging it.

Oh now that would be interesting. I’ll have to look that video up. Ty Angel.
I also don’t like oxidation on silver.
