And I got a wonderful surprise! Daughter took the day off of work and showed up here at home. I had no idea that was happening until she walked in the door.
Well, I heard the “Ring” alert first, then the key in the door so it kind of freaked me out a bit.
I think she needed to come home for a bit anyway so that was nice.

Well, he did. He hid them in the car in various places. The restaurant we went to for dinner is 45 minutes away so he devised reasons for me to find little boxes during the drive!

One big thing was in the trunk.

No wonder he was so insistent that he drive to dinner.
