I agree with the overpriced jewelry, I don't spend a lot of money on things I can't see in person. I shop here for the cheap stuff to make my own jewelry. As far as working, I'm retired. Plus, it's cheaper for me to shop on line because I live in the mountains and have no access to most things. Not sure why anyone has to justify why they shop during the day to anyone. I'm fairly new to this forum, don't usually post on anything. But these wonderful ladies (men, too) are the nicest, most caring people and I find myself coming back each day just to check in on them. They make me laugh, sometimes cry, and this forum gives a lot of people an outlet for friendship that is sometimes hard to find in the 'real' world. So, let's keep your negativity in check, ok? Whether we work OUTSIDE the home is no one's businesses but our own.

What really doesn't make sense to me is trying to sell high priced jewelry with hosts who are yelling and acting like fools. What well-off shopper is going to buy from people who act like that? They likely won't even be watching. Those people are probably watching more sophisticated channels IMO.

Sam, I'm so happy you are here on the forum and giving your opinion too! You are a bees knees in my book!

Just shop online! There’s literally thousands of items at all price points! I never watch the live shows and constantly find decent deals. I mostly buy from the RA but even the catalog side has decent prices with 30% off. The only time the live shows have better prices is during spin for savings anyway! Don’t waste your precious life watching ShopLC...go watch a good movie and shop online...get the best of both worlds! Who has time to watch TV all day anyway?!? Doesn’t anyone out there work? Dang! I must be doing something horribly wrong! 😳🤑
Ok, I HAVE TO PLAY DEVIL'S ADVOCATE here! @D-Flawless made a simple off-hand remark, followed by some self-deprecation! She (he?) has been a loyal friend to all of you! Please remember she has read your posts and has a pretty good idea of how hard life must be for "carers" even if she has never experienced it.

Please say you're sorry to her for responding vehemently! She didn't actually attack anyone, and didn't deserve this! Can you imagine how she is feeling right now?

More of my 2 cents! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Please reread d-flawless' post! Did she really say anything meant to offend anyone? Or was it just an off-the-cuff comment?

The main point I'm making is that you have previously made it very clear how difficult it is to be a carer! D-flawless knows that! And I am personally offended that you choose to ignore that little detail! Has she not shown great sympathy and compassion to you?

I feel you teamed up against her. Go ahead and tell me off! I can take it! If this is how you treat your friends ... well, .....? Do your worst! Get it off your chest.

I don't work because of serious injuries! I would love to have the money to watch jewelry shopping shows all day, while being a carer! I can't even afford cable tv, or my utilities! I drive an old car without a/c in the desert! I live off $460 per month! Please tell me again how rough YOU have it, you poor baby!

You may work very, very hard, but you aren't walking in anyone else's shoes, are you? Why? Because you can't experience what they are experiencing, so why do you expect d-flawless to be able to walk in yours? Ok, you have officially shoved it down my throat too! Now I feel like I don't belong here either! Good job, SNOB!
