Website issues?

Post by RS » 4 years ago

Ok. I figured this out.

I always have problems with this site. The forum (SLC) using key loggers when I am on. I know this. I can SEE this.
Website crashing, pages don’t load. So many issues. Both in forum and main site.

This happens when I am LOGGED ON.

I tested this over and over. When I log OUT. NO MORE ISSUES.

This doesn’t happen ANYWHERE else I go online. Not one place!

So...what else am I to conclude?

I see this SLC, it had best stop.

Good afternoon,

Thank you so much for bringing this up. I have forwarded your post to our web team so they can look into what is going on here. I can confirm that our website is 100% malware free, and a URL scan on VirusTotal does show up completely clean. If you have any other information, or notice any other issues please email me at preston.weaver@shoplc.com. Thank you again for your post, and for being apart of the Shop LC family!

Thank you Preston but I can only tell you what I know. I KNOW that this only happens on SLC.
I also know that keylogging very often originates from an IT dept.
I think perhaps that you and other mods, et al are not privy to all that goes on.

These issue continue. My keys are being “logged” and changed as I type this.
Main site just crashed as well.

I don’t expect it to change. I will however, eventually tire of it. It is very cumbersome to post. It takes a long long time because of the logging.
I cannot load the site properly which makes it difficult, ergo not a pleasant experience to browse and shop.

Thanks for replying.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take off the "HAND PICKED FOR YOU" notice on the Aution site. I use the mobile app on my 3"X5" phone and that annoying notice pops up in the way while I am seriously doing a bid!!!!! Please take it off the Aution site. Autions should be fun. This notice hampers and gets in the way of max bid and any number amounts that I add to the max bid. There are 2 way to bid. I use the Aution wishlist so my item is ready for me to bid. Turning my ohone sideways does NOT help. Can someone take it off the Aution site??? THANKS

Being that all my devices and equipment are Apple they are pretty impervious to the threats they pose. None of my devices have been “jail broken” so the security is intact. The loggers are still a nuisance but they cannot glean the info they seek.
They need to stop with me. As hubby is retired from Homeland security also he has “friends in high places”...all it would take is one call.
