Korean War : 1950-1853
Vietnam War : 1964-1975
Desert Shield/Desert Storm 1990-1991
Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom 2001-.............

We don't know them all.......
But we DO owe them all.
We are free because of the BRAVE men and women of our country's armed forces.

On a personal note....
Like most of you, I've had family members serving since the Revolutionary War. But the one solider who WILL ALWAYS have my heart ♡ My Husband who served in Vietnam 1969-1973 -Gypsy

I too had and have such people in my life.
On another note, today is the unofficial first day of summer. I'm thinking about the things that are different due to the virus. Picnics, swimming pools, flag ceremonies, anything that cramps with social distancing. I'm so tired of that phrase, hearing it and doing it!!! Besides visiting the cemetery, I can't, what else is everyone up to today?

It is Memorial Day, so let us remember these 9 more folks who are no longer with us, along with all those who went before. i consider this too a war.

I mean this in no way to be disrespectful to those who have given their lives for their country.
