FYI: A&W Root Beer is a root beer brand primarily available in the U.S. and Canada
that was founded in 1919 by Roy Allen. When Allen partnered with
Frank Wright in 1922, the partners combined their initials to create
the A&W brand and inspired a restaurant chain, also founded that year.

When was the last time "you had a cold one"?

Last time I remember there being a restaurant here was in the 70s. Still a drive-in with carhop service. Wow!!!

Last time I had a cold wasn’t root beer it was . (R) beer. Regular . Not very often though.

Happy Root Beer day! I never liked root beer, even as a kid. I think it was because my parents gave us Fletcher's Castoria for digestive issues and it tasted like root beer so it turned me off to the soda, lol. On another note, I never liked cream soda either.
