Air Purifier

Did anyone purchase the air purifier item #3572490 and if so do you like it? I purchased one and I have had it running non stop in my kitchen for about a week now and it does not seem to be doing anything, the air does not seem any fresher at all and my kitchen is not very big. I'm wondering if maybe it is defective? Did your air smell cleaner using this?

Don't know, but assume it has a filter? How does that look? Any ideas from the instruction booklet? Does it have a trouble shooting section?

@anniebelle There is a filter and all it said was to remove the packaging on the filter which I did, it does not say anything else except how to run it which is pretty straight forward. I have a different model that I purchased from here that I like but they no longer have that one. I use that one in my bedroom and it works great.
