My little “guy”...

He’s a cutie for sure a certainly sweet. I got “him” in 2009 at four months old.

Hmmmm....

Last night as I began covering “him” and Hawkins for the evening, this little “guy” Giacomo was inside his little birdie condo on his bed. “He” peeks out of the house and pushes something out and onto the bottom of “his” cage.

I look down... and look again...and back at “him”

And what did “he” push out onto the floor???????


AN EGG!!!!!!!!

Well now...I squealed upstairs to my husband “honeyyyyy....we have a problem”....he comes a running....sees what I had just picked up and literally started laughing his butt off! I then remind him that now he is in a house with FIVE WOMEN! (me, dogs and birds) and reminded him to be careful of any comments!

Say HI to “him”...GIACOMO....my little girl.

No, SHE is over 10 and already knows HER name.
I removed the egg. It will not hatch, not viable as there is no daddy bird. That is why she pushed it out.
I went through this with a bird I used to have. She went absolutely bonkers though after laying 6 eggs. I hope that doesn’t happen this time because she’s my little baby.
Hawkins has years to go yet before she reaches this stage.
