I like all tree nuts...Jaycee you brought back a very good thought memory as When my family lived in OHIO growing up days, we not only roasted chestnuts, and picked Black Walnuts, Us kids collected Buck Eyes for Good Luck.
We loved these poisonous to human smooth touch in the pocket might be called worry nuts.

We also had a pet tame squirrel that came to visit out rental patio down the alley in the back yard because we fed him peanuts my dad always had on hand. Hence we dubbed him "Peanut".

Of course the down side was a neighbor bad boy 12 or so came down on his bike and shot him with a bow n arrow and did get him because he was so jealous we had something good.

We cried a long time for "Peanut".
