Why do they need THREE people to sell a $10 item?

I'm watching Friday sale. There are THREE people selling a $10 item.
It just doesn't make sense. How can it be worth paying THREE hosts to sell a cheap item?
What am I missing?

Sales strategy: But there are about 10 hosts I prefer not to buy from and can't stand to watch so they are shooting themselves in the foot by having 2 or 3 at a time.

I think it is ego. It seems to me that the "executives" love to just pop on camera because they can. One in particular seems to consider himself quite a showman. You don't see that on the more professional channels, where there is usually one selling jewelry, and sometimes two. You also don't see the other channels constantly attempting to wear you down with excessively long presentations. I'm trying to see jewelry, not support hose, coloring books and masks anyway.

I think you are right. I never saw "management" constantly on the air on any other shopping networks. Do they really think it brings more value or authority to the presentations? IMO it cheapens it, makes the channel look much less professional. Seems they don't care at all. Well, if their profits go up why would they?
