RA lost 6x's for the same item
I saw an ivory cardigan with sequins on the RA and wanted to bid on it. At the last second(literally) someone bid on it. I guess they had six of the item and I bid 6 times and lost each time. I pressed the bid button at last second and lost. I am done with the RA. I have high blood pressure and do not want another thing aggravating me

@JA
I'd just forget about the RA.
I posted under the "bullying" post the other day.
If you do a search for 'peacock' under the $1 auctions you will currently see one bidder that is the high bidder on 26 of 68 of the auctions, or 38% of available auctions in that search.
If the auctions were ended all at once, and now, this bidder would be 'responsible' for $1748.00.
Situations like this and the one I chronicled in this forum AND called in to customer service, make anyone with good sense wonder about the legitimacy of the auction platform.
They either don't impose a penalty for overbidding and for not buying if items are won, or something more dubious is occurring.
Don't sweat the RA.
Save yourself the headache and the blood pressure
Cheers

Good one @Jacee
I can think of a couple more ‘r’ words to describe them as well! It’s funny how many people complain about this kind of junk and nothing is done about it.
Odd indeed......hmmmmmmm

..
RA stands for Rising Auction.
Sometimes I've had to bid in a dozen or more auctions before I get an item I want at a price I feel OK paying.
