Served hot/warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream on top.

Sat. Feb. 20 is National Cherry 🥧 Pie Day.

The day on which people are encouraged to enjoy
the second most popular pie in the U.S., second only to apple pie.

It probably is the biggest comfort foods around, so enjoy! ;)

It was my Mom's favorite.
My Dad's favorite was Blueberry
In a previous post, we all enjoyed strawberry-rhubarb.

I like all kinds, and sometimes " crave" key lime.

During the holidays, made a few pecan pies. When my husband brought home pecans
that were given to him brought home from Georgia.

"Off beat".. once made Schoofly pie.

My Mom was a great cook/ Baker and would bake all kinds according to the season
Which we all enjoyed.

When is National Cheesecake Day? Hubby stopped at Aldi's a few weeks ago and brought home 4 slices. It was the best I think I've ever had. Just plain, no topping. Yum!!!

I had a cherry turnover for dessert last night! It was very messy, flaky, but good and tart!

Mmmm. I've never tried making cheesecake. It would be dangerous to have a whole one in the house! Let us know if you find time to make one. 💗

I have found that cutting slices and freezing them is best way, so as not to eat the whole cake. That way you can pull a piece out defrost and eat. I like warm cheese cake also, plain or REAL STRAWBERRIES 🤗. Some one told me it is less expensive to buy a cheese cake. Rather than buying all the ingredients. I don’t know if true.
