Re: Songs: care to share
And now the time has come
And so my love I must go....
And though I lose a friend
In the end you will know....
One day, you’ll find
That I have gone...
But tomorrow may rain so
I’ll follow the sun...
And so my love I must go....
And though I lose a friend
In the end you will know....
One day, you’ll find
That I have gone...
But tomorrow may rain so
I’ll follow the sun...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Look at that face just look at it,
Look at that fabulous face of yours,
I knew first look I took of it,
This was the face that the world adores....
Love that song, used to sing it to my babies when they were infants...

Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac. My mother used to play FM every Saturday morning while we cleaned house and every time I hear it, I get choked up because it's so beautiful.
Songbird
For you, there'll be no more crying
For you, the sun will be shining
And I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right
To you, I'll give the world
To you, I'll never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right
And the songbirds are singing like they know the score
And I love you, I love you, I love you, like never before
And I wish you all the love in the world
But most of all, I wish it from myself...

Love all the songs.... RS yours brought tears to my eyes. The one that REALLY MAKES ME CRY IS “AMAZING GRACE “. Was sung at my Dad’s funeral. HE WAS MY EVERY THING ...H

Yes, Amazing Grace is a knee bender. It was played at my grandmother's funeral and I'll never forget it. She requested the song to be played.
ouch, it hurts. I'm sorry AD H.

One more song from me - but I could list thousands. Then Imma "Truckin" on outta here.
Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me
Other times I can barely see
Lately it occurs to me
What a long, strange trip it's been.

Re: Songs: care to share
For some reason these lyrics have always rung a bell for me. The current state of the outside world and my own personal world makes them even more relevant right now. I hope I got these right.
I climbed a mountain and I turned around.
Then I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills,
til the landslide brought me down.
Oh mirror in the sky what is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
...
But time makes you bolder.
Even children get older.
And I'm getting older too.
