@GemLover
I'm so happy for your Goose rescue !! I know how you love them !
And @Spooky aren't baby squirrels fun ! My late husband and I rescued a pair of babies squirrels after a bad storm once. We were traveling at the time and couldn't keep them in our 5th Wheel for very long (our cats thought we brought them home for them to play with )Luckily we found a woman who raised and set them free around her place.
I'm glad there are so many animal lovers around willing to help them when they need it - Gypsy

The city was trimming trees this spring and
my new neighbor across the street had 2
different nests in the tree being removed.
Oh my goodness they ARE sweet !!!
I brought both nests home and put them on
a low temperature heating pad and fed
them every 2 hours. My cats thought they
were going to get a snack so I put them in
a downstairs bath. I’ve done chipmunks and
baby birds, kittens, dogs and horses all of
whom are so darn cute. I got attached to
the squirrels within an hour. I put both nests
together (they really didn’t care) so they
shared body heat and the partial nest
material still smelled like mom. It looked
like a moshe pit at a punk rock concert. They
just kept moving around each other til they
were each in the perfect spot and when they
slept it was beautiful. The baby black squirrels
were funny as they’d hold the syringe to get
the milk at just the right angle. They were
superstars

GemLover Spooky and Gypsy. Any animal lover is a friend of mine. I have been trying to foster an outdoor baby bunny that appears to be orphaned. I have not seen him for a couple of days. I am worried because we have falcons, owls and even eagles around here. For now I have to hope he was reunited with his mother. Keep your finder crossed.

What AWESOME people you all are to take in and rescue all these critters. In my area we have squirrels, bunnies, opossums, raccoons, birds, etc. So far I've not seen any abandoned or needy ones, but I'm not home during the day to see if there are any that need help. Bless you all for doing it!
