Not disclosing the gemstones treatments is a forgery. Two years , I told this story on a different post. Macy’s had a scandal couple of years ago. They were selling glass filled rubies as natural gemstones to many customers. Long story, short. The store refunded the customers and tell the sellers to disclose the treatments of their gems. Glass filled rubies are longer rubies, but a composite and they are not longer natural since they are more glass than Ruby.
