Yeah, I agree. I'm not sure about all these batteries, especially the lithium. And I am terrified of fire. I know I've said before, I live on the 3rd Floor in my building and I have kitties too Along with that, I'm no "spring chicken" and definitely have issues getting up and down the stairs. So batteries blowing up or catching fire....SCARY

I called my neighbor cause she has one of those things, and I feel the same way you do Gypsy about fire. I worry about a Halo bolt I got at Christmas, and a Halo phone charger I have. It is nice to be able to air tires at home, but oh my gosh!

I’ve always thought those solar power banks were a good idea to have in case of power outage, but just never got around to buying one. I’m glad I didn’t. Thank you Gypsy for sharing this. I don’t think I’ll get one now. That’s really scary!!! Glad you or your kitties didn’t get hurt.

I've read about any phone charger having potential to explode so not sure any of them are safe.
