Does anybody remember Helenite?

I have one ring in Helenite and diamonds! I love it. I bought it years ago. I had two pieces but one was stolen from a previous cleaning lady.

Did you get the green or the purple? I have 2 green 1 purple.
They are some of my favorites. Big ole chunky but beautiful rocks.

So tomorrow while you watch the paint dry, I'm gonna count snowflakes.

I got green! It’s cut in an emerald cut. And oh yeah....I was more than a bit angry! I never did get it back.

Yes, I have a green oval ring purchased in the eighties. Since it is an artificial glass with a little ash from Mount St. Helens added to the mix, it makes me wonder if the current crop of Helenite jewelry actually has any genuine ash in it. Stauer has a good selection. But, since is was the heat from a torch that turned the ash green when fused and started the whole Helenite biz; how do they market blue and red?

Yessss! I love Helenite! I have several pieces but my favorite is a gorgeous huge Trillion cut ring. Such a beautiful color! Especially now for the “Holidaze”!
