What happened?!

Husband hurt his back a few days ago (he thinks at work but not sure) and had to go to the doctor this morning.

He got home a bit ago and is now on meds that prevent him from flying. He was supposed to be on duty tonight so he feels it isn’t right to go. Like “heyyyy...I called out sick but here I am? Where’s the bar? Kinda thing.

He’s in a lot of pain and now on meds. For that reason we shouldn’t go.

He is one of several scheduled on duty tonight. The plan is for them to just go to the party anyway and if they get “toned out” they just go. The helicopter was going to be AT the country club. If they got toned it would leave from there. If the aircraft did, the helicopter would take my husband and med crew to the airport.

I hope he feels better too. My husband has a bad back from Desert Storm. Im sorry you cant go but I do understand his thinking.

Thanks His won’t last long. They took xrays and his back looks great. It’s a muscle strain. And yeah, he would just feel bad. So we are ordering in tonight and watching a movie. I may shop @Gypsy

My late husband was in the Army also, he served in Vietnam from 69-73 ...he was also older than me but I think it was Gemsnob that mentioned her husband had injured his back while serving in Desert Storm......so THANK YOU to her husband and yours for keeping us safe and free ❣
