The coupon specifically says "including clearance". I dont know if anyone has tried using it or not. I had that happen a few weeks ago. In the wee hours of the morning, shortly after the coupon code was released, I was able to use it on recently aired items. I considered myself lucky and that I just got to take advantage of a computer glitch. Generally, the codes are not valid for on-air items. I think that the coupon code team just didn't update it early. Luckily, I paid immediately and got all the items at an amazing price. Even better than RA
