Thank you Gypsy and I am so sorry for your loss too it’s never easy, even after all these years. But it helps talking about it because I usually just keep it to myself but I am so grateful for the forums here and ALL you wonderful friends

It would be very interesting to see of thier designers could come up with a design that we could order pretty Mothers rings

Yearsssss ago, when they were Liquidation Channel they
were actually offering customers the opportunities to create
whatever ring they wanted. I know they did this for about two
consecutive years for about a month each year.

Gypsy's idea is great, because SLC could style the rings to hold
as many birthstone gems as requested and then the Gypsy
could choose which gems she wants.

Im not sure if it was a contest exactly but customers could send drawings of their designs and shoplc would produce them. If I remember correctly, if they chose your design, they sent you your piece for free. Then they stopped.

I remember this contest and sometimes they would show the picture of the person who designed the item on air. That seems ages ago, I wish they would design rings with several of our requests and see how they sell. I would love to see amethyst, pearl, opal (welo) in a combination for my mothers ring for me.
Amethyst-daughter & me-February & our 24th wedding anniversary
Pearl-son in June
Welo opal-husband in October
I would like the opal as the center stone surrounded by the amethyst and pearl. Yes, I like to design jewelry

I was just thinking of ear jackets, have not seen any in ages. They will greatly enhance the many studs that are offered on SLC. Sometimes I just want to wear simple earrings for everyday, but find the studs to small for older lady. What do you gals think?
