Sensitive language

Post by Butterfly » 4 years ago

Could the moderator provide list of what is considered sensitive materiel.
I was commenting on the the Sankom Bras and had a message that my statement contained what is considered to be sensitive wording.
I certainly do not want to offend anyone or use inappropriate language which I do not do. However , I was having trouble figuring out what I was saying that was wrong. Is it insensitive to mention a body part that would be associated with a bra. I took it out thinking that it may be that. I am not being sarcastic. I truly want to respect not only others but the rules of this site.

Don’t stress. Just put in characters to replace the letters. The words the forum will not accept are extremely conservative imo. There are words that are clearly accepted in our culture yet are not in the forum.
Another thing they need to update and work on.
Not holding my breath.

Good Evening, Butterfly!

Thank you for your message! In regards to your inquiry, sensitive material can be generalized as "...content that is profane, sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive". Though, there is no specific list of words that we could provide, as it is our automatic filters that go based off keywords for sensitive material.

It is certainly strange that the statement you had was given a message for containing sensitive material, though that could simply be the automatic filter being stingy. I will be more than happy to forward this to our web teams to look into updating the automatic filter software. Please accept my apologies for any confusion caused!

I have been censored several times and I never could figure out what word(s) the computer had a gripe with so I just deleted my post. And I don"t cuss, spit or chew or go with the guys that do- in real life- so I certainly wouldn't do it here.
