technical difficulties orrrr

I am in need of help, I'm not computer savy by any means
but I think that I am having technical difficulties orrrrr I
have been blocked from SLC and the forum since the 2nd
of Jan.

How am I here now? you ask....well for fear of not getting
back on any other way, I can not say for the moment.

I spent today catching up on 'days of our forum' and I missed
ya all!!!!

@ModDanielle and the posters on this forum - this is what
happens when I try to log on.
A blue screen with a picture of an ipad pops up and tells
me to 'rotate my device' (some kind of joke?) because
'something is being worked on and that I need to switch from
landscape mode to portrait mode.' I use my laptop so turning
it won't help. I used the tools to find out how to switch over
to portrait mode and there is no option to do that.

Is it a glitch? Am I banned from SLC? For how long?

Very strange. On Jan 2nd, some of us experience strange things and I had trouble logging on but nothing like you describe. Maybe email Danielle directly.

@Gemsnob Thank you. I do remember
reading the posts, that few days ago and some were saying
that they had some glitches. If others are still having the
problem that I have, they can not get back on yet either.

That is very strange that it would ask you to do that. I remember my pc some how had switched my screen upside down and I could not figure out how to fix it at the time, I had not been using a pc for very long at that time, you should have seen me trying to tip my head and body to try to look at my screen as I was trying to fix it, lol. It is a good thing I was all by myself at the time.

I had problems a few days ago where it warned me I might be on an insecure or fake site. I’m not a pc tech, but whenever I was on my pc and it gave me these strange messages I REBOOTED the PC and all was good. I basically use my iphone for everything now, and if it freezes, etc. I reboot it. I find going under google it has all kind of pc help. Click on GOOGLE. Type in what your pc is telling you, and someone will give you advice on how to get back to a normal screen. Hope this helps.

I know I am having glitches because I checked my user profile for the forums and it says my last active post was about 8 hours ago This is not true because I have been on many times and it’s been saying different hours for days. Also it logged me out, I didn’t log out myself and I hope there’s no issues with others accounts being seen like before. I hope Danielle or one of the other mods can help you, but I’ve not seen any recently. Ginger

Greetings, All ironed out here. It had been my laptops browser
that was updating itself and it took 5 days to do it! ha
I had just gotten an email reply from the Awesome Danielle and
she told me that my account was still open and suggested that
I check on updating my browser, so in the middle of reading her
email and replying to her, I checked and bam!....was able to
access SLC Live TV and able to shop and peruse again. I
was so giddy and thanked Danielle for her reply. I also had been
hoping that nobody else had the same difficulty that I had. It
must have been a 2020 thing and browsers must need updated.

I'm glad that the other glitches Ginger, Vicky and Gem Lover,
(I pictured you standing on her head! ) had are about ironed
out.
