Welo opals changed color

I purchased a welo opal ring a few years ago. It was so white the colors were almost invisible. Of course, if I soaked it in water for a short time the white changed to clear & in bright light the colors were there but, as the welo opal dried it became white again. Very disappointed, have not & will not be ordering any more welo opal.

I really don't understand this. I have 25 rings with Welo opals and many earrings and pendants and not one has turned yellow. The items were purchased from ShopLC (the majority), HSN and JTV. The purchases go back to 2014 and kept in proper jewelry boxes.

Thank you, for addressing this. I will be very careful with my opals. I will wear them at evening or night time.
