Shungite and Garnet Ring

I bought a Shungite and Garnet ring not even two months ago and a stone has already fallen out. It's too late to send it back. I'm so disappointed. The ring was beautiful.

So sorry about your ring! If the stone that fell out was Shungite I am not surprised as Shungite is only a 3 1/2 to 4 on the Mohs hardness scale. Basically a lump of coal. Pretty coal sometimes but coal nonetheless.

It was a garnet that fell out.

Sounds like a prong problem then. Bummer! Be careful with Shungite if you find a garnet to re-set or put the Shungite in another casting.
