Hi All, I can hardly believe it. I purchased approx. 100 pieces of welo opal from LC over 3 years. Some I wore, but most were kept in a 2-tier higher end LC jewelry box. Almost all turned an ugly yellow color. I researched online and read that once welo opals turn yellow, there is nothing to do to restore their original color. Three weeks ago, I filled a small compartment in each tier with white rice. I opened the jewelry box today for the first time and almost all of my opals were back to their original color. So happy and wanted to share this info with everyone having the same issue.

Thank you for sharing this, it is much appreciated. I live in a subtropical coastal climate, it gets quite humid here during the summer months. I have been hesitant to purchase any opal jewelry out of concern it would just turn yellow after I wore it once.
