Mildew Leather Gloves!?!

Post by Kewpie » 3 years ago

Has anyone received the leather gloves that were sold a week ago?
WoW! I have had the gloves airing out for days in my garage and they still
smell like MILDEW! A very strong musty smell!
Quality control ... WHERE ARE YOU?
Maybe SHOP LC should just sell jewelry?
Has anyone else had this awful problem?
My entire garage stinks of mildew!
Blessings and everyone stay safe and well.
P.S. My kitties refuse to go into the garage anymore. LOL!

Good morning,

I am very sorry to hear that you received this item in that condition. In this case, please reach out to me at preston.weaver@shoplc.com with the order information so I can look into making this right for you.

I purchased two pairs the ones with the faux fur ball on them. For the price they were a bargain. Mine have a odor to them but as far as I’m concerned it is simply the leather. Some types of leather do have a strong odor depending on how they are processed.

.
I bought the same ones Bella did. No smell other than newly dyed leather.

Hi!
A suggestion..
I have heard that a charcoal briquette will absorb the smell

(And at this time of year.. you might have handy)
Place inside glove.
What could it hurt?
Good Luck!
