hi Gypsy, while visiting a cousin recently, I learned
she fills up the hummingbird feeder with........
grape jelly!! for the Orioles!! that was a new one
for me!

I just saw this post and YES to the grape jelly. We also half oranges and grapefruit and put face up for them. I used to put out unsalted in the shell peanuts for the wild Parrots

Hello all: my mom bless her soul, always worried about the little sparrows in Ohio. I would feed them for her & that made her so happy. I have a severe phobia of anything that flies, so at my home now I can’t feed anything. The crows are as big as condors. I’m glad the forum enjoys the birds as much as my mom did. They are all God’s creatures, but when you’re terrified of a bird or insect there isn’t anything I can do to rid myself of panicking, I’m tool old now. 👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻
