Myanmar landslide

I read that a landslide came down the mountain into a lake where jade miners were working. The tsunami caused by the landslide killed 100 miners. I wonder how many miners are killed digging for gemstones we buy. So tragic. Prayers for there families.

That is tragic. There are many that buy only lab created gemstones because of this type of thing and they worry what mining does to the earth.

The News stated...Officials did advise
minors not to work
Because of the heavy rains
Should the company have closed?
Knowing this might happen.
Or did greed "take over"?
