Cleaning your LC Jewelry

Hello! What are you using to clean your vermeil gold pieces? I tried a polishing cloth and noticed it was removing the vermeil. What brands or cleaning solutions do you recommend?

I just use mild dish soap like regular dawn to clean my jewelry and I have never had an issue. I use the same thing on the gemstones with a toothbrush unless it is a gem that could be harmed by soap and water. If in doubt on how to clean a certain gem then google it so you do not ruin it. For example you would never use soap and water on an opal or pearl ring.

My rose gold vermeil pieces tarnished which shouldn’t be happening. Since it was silver underneath I used my silver polishing cloth and it cleaned up real nice. My platinum over silver pieces don’t tarnish at all
