Bill-to-Ship-to Option

Post by Ena » 3 years ago

When I send a gift I don't want the recipient to see/know the price of a gift.

Other shopping networks have this "bill-to-Ship_to" option where you check off "it's a gift" and the invoice that comes with the gift doesn't have the price on it.

It looks like ShopLC doesn't have this option. I asked Customer Service on the chat about it and the answer is that after I place an order I need to call CS and they will post a note on the order not to include an invoice with the gift.

Why it's so complicated? Honestly I got an impression that the CS rep I chatted with didn't really know the correct answer to my question.

So can someone clarify this for me? Is there a way to order so the price of a gift is not displayed on the invoice?

Hi @Ena
I wouldn’t trust that the invoice will not be included.
Last year I got a great deal on a necklace that I wanted shipped to a teenager. I called CS asking them not to include the invoice with the price, in the box they were shipping to the teenager.
They told me they have no such thing. The invoice goes in the pkg.
thats the last time I did bill to ship to from Shoplc.

I do it easily via Amaz..

what's THE POINT of offering the Bill To Ship To
if the invoice is included in the Ship To?? It should
not automatically be sent w/pkg...and if someone
placing the order WANTS the invoice to go w/pkg...
that step should require a phone call to CS.

Simple Steps SLC.....
if you make the offer.....Bill To Ship To
1...send invoice to the account placing and paying for the order
2...send pkg to destination requested by account paying for the order

one more time....
if you make the offer .....Bill To Ship To
1...send invoice to the account placing and paying for the order
2...send pkg to destination requested by account paying for the order

I must say, because of the orders with damaged items I have received....

I would NEVER consider using " bill to / ship to "

I want to inspect the items before I send off to my family and friends as gifts.

SORRY -but not sorry, don't trust SLC to send new, undamaged items. Trust is earned.....
