Texas to have scheduled power shutdown due to the weather Anyone else hear this?

YES....
I just rec'd emai from my electric company. Rolling black outs to start immediately and each will last 15 to 45 minutes.

PG&E was doing those here the past few summers due to the wildfires.

I never was affected by those roll-outs because we have city power.

Make sure your devices and portable chargers are FULLY CHARGED❤️❤️

My phone is charged. If I lose power I will lose internet as my phone has no data. I have no other devices .....except a kindle

My cousin is in Austin. She says it isn't pretty.....for Texas.
I woke up to no electricity today. Had to start up a generator. It's been snowing like crazy here.
Keeping up with the plowing of our main road up on the mountain top is iffy. I'm sure my
ride down to town will be adventurous. 😮

I’ve spent a LOT of time in Texas. Never have I seen it snow there. Hail YES....lots of hail.

So far power, can’t get up the hill, we livelikaround fifteen miles from town, country living is NOT for ME😩...... H. Live15 miles from town. Can’t even type crabapples

TX?

Our house before this one was on 3 acres 15 miles from town. It seemed like a long way to go to the store. This was when the kids were really little and just the planning for the day 15 miles away seemed like an ordeal.

I have lived in the city all my life, this country stuff isn’t for me 😫. Getting another round of snow and ice AGAIN, WEDNESDAY NOooooo. I have meds. To pick up THURSDAY. Hasn’t stopped here, still snowing. .....A:... has the storm arrived there yet. H. RS hope you and P. feel better soon😊
