PERFUMES
I know this topic has been discussed here on the Forum. Could someone please refresh my memory? ARE PERFUMES RETURNABLE???/ I was thinking not, but today I received a used bottle, the carton had no cellophane, the box resealed with tape. It didn't even have an item sticker on it!

Re: PERFUMES
Good afternoon,
Thank you for asking, Perfumes are considered beauty products and are not returnable. As stated at https://www.shoplc.com/returns which reads: "Hygiene products with a safety seal or that come in contact with the body cannot be returned. No hygiene products can be returned if the package has been opened, seal broken, or product used/tested per Public Health Policy and per ShopLC policy standards. Such items include but are not limited to toiletry, intimates, beauty, consumables, bedding, pet and hair products." Please feel free to let us know if you need further assistance.

Re: PERFUMES
Alex, If items are NOT returnable, how did Anniebelle get a USED and previously open and taped up box? But are you telling her that she CANNOT return one that was clearly tampered at Shop LC? What kind of quality control, or LACK of is going on at Shop LC? Totally unacceptable Please REREAD her message to you. This was NOT her fault!shopLC_alex wrote: ↑2 years agoGood afternoon,

Re: PERFUMES
going by annibelle's description of the perfume that she
recieved.... looks like she is now the owner of an already
open AND used bottle of perfume........that anniebelle did
NOT open...
HMMMM?
I NEVER order what SLC host's push with... high notes, the
low notes, lingering, flowery, grassy, woodsie, fruity, musky
sexy or whoever's name is on or how $$expenive$$ it 'is'.....
........P-U-ke!!!
and furthermore........ I have NEVER passed watching for a min or
two where the hosts SAYYYYY........"get it home, if you don't like
it, return it." "???????" What? Maybe I don't understand what that
means? "get it home, if you don't like it, return it."........OH!?!? .....
but no one get's a refund and the open bottle get's shipped to
someone else.....
No mistake here, if your thing is fragrances that you can not find
and try out first, shop away, I am indifferent as to whether or not
you love it or not just as long as you feel like you were delivered
JOY. I mean that. (smiley)

How will ShopLC handle this particular case? I am not personally involved, however I, too, would not be happy if I received a bottle of perfume with no cellophane wrapping and sealed up with tape. Will ShopLC do the right thing and refund Annabelle??

Re: PERFUMES
Am I really understanding this correctly.......
anniebelle received a opened and used bottle of perfume from SLC and she is not being allowed to return the DAMAGED AND USED product to SLC for a refund ??????
Something is seriously wrong with this.

2 words: That stinks! I hope you receive the refund-ridiculous answer due to these circumstances.

Re: PERFUMES
Here's an idea MOD Alex...........take all the tried out bottles
that are shipped back and spritz alittle on a little note card,
slip it into one of those nifty little reseal bags tagged with a
what the fragrance it is and send them out in pkgs that are
being shipped.... as 'try me's' .......
thennnnnn maybe the customer's that like that little sample
will buy? AND BE HAPPY.........that's wayyyyyy better than
WATCHING hosts sniff a note cards and wayyyyyy better use of
ALL the returns ....than to
"SHIP A USED PRODUCT TO A PAYING CUSTOMER!!"
