What does “expired” mean?
In the bid history menu, order status occasionally states “expired” after a lost bid. Does that mean the winning bidder did not pay for the item? Thanks!

I think it means it didn't sell - most likely the highest bidder never paid. I see it sometimes as well.

Re: What does “expired” mean?
It means the time 'expired' on the auction item and no one bid on it.
Otherwise, it would say Sold.

Re: What does “expired” mean?
I see “expired” on items that I’ve bid on but lost, so it can’t be that no-one bid on the item. Here’s a screen shot of what I’m seeing

Maybe it means the time to pay for it expired.

Re: What does “expired” mean?
So it means all these crazy bidders that ran up the prices sky-high on the auctions didn't pay for anything? It figures. Just sport bidding to knock out the chance for anyone legitimately wanting the item, so it goes back in auction circulation so they can do it over and over again. Ridiculous!
